This is an "old" computer thang. One of the challenges with creating work on technology is how to make it work this year. It's one of the reasons that books are actually very high-tech. When I first developed this, 2 meg was considered to be a big honking file. HA! (Note: the Director version of Destroy is 1,500K - 2 meg.)

Destroy The World's History:

Originally written to be performed in HyperCard, it languished for years in a forgotten storage dump before being transferred into Macromedia Director.

The original HyperCard stack took up 275K, but won't work correctly on fast Mac's. The Macromedia version takes up a little more than 2 megabytes uncompressed, but is supposed to work on modern machines. And there's a Windows version, too.

Finally, I was able to get Shockwave to work. Now it's down to about half a meg again.
But I can't find it....

(This is progress.)
