The Brothers Schlemiel FAQ

|
- Who are the Brothers Schlemiel?
- Abraham and Adam. They're twins. As to which is who, you'll have to read the stories.

- What is Chelm?
- Chelm is a fictional village filled with "wise men and women" who are considered by most reliable sources to be complete dunderheads. Stories of Chelm have been written by authors like Sholem Alechem and I.B. Singer. My stories of Chelm are slightly different. Rather than working with stock characters, I have populated his village of Chelm with real people who evolve over time. Of course most of the time, they're still not the swiftest on the uptake.

Dickens For The 21st Century
"Mr. Binder has put his extensive talents to use on the internet. The return of serialized literature is long overdue and "The Brothers Schlemiel" seems the perfect work to introduce a new generation of readers to a method as traditional as Dickens using technology that Jules Verne could only have dreamed of."
